Sayswapp (“we”, “us”) operates the Sayswapp website at sayswapp.com and the Sayswapp mobile app. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at privacy@sayswapp.com.

• Account details — your email address and/or mobile number, display name, preferred languages and trades or expertise you choose to add.
• Voice recordings — the audio you record to create listings, search, or send voice messages. Recordings are transcribed and may be translated.
• Photos and videos — media you capture live in the app to show an item.
• Location — the market location and radius you choose, and (only with your permission) your device’s current location.
• Contact preferences — phone or WhatsApp numbers you decide to share with buyers or sellers.
• Messages — text and voice chats between you and other members, including their translations.
• Technical data — device type, browser, language settings and basic usage logs needed to run the service.

• To transcribe, structure and translate what you say into listings, searches, requests and messages.
• To show listings, requests and tradespeople within the market radius you select.
• To connect buyers, sellers and service providers through the contact methods you allow.
• To notify you about matches, messages and the status of your posts.
• To keep Sayswapp safe, prevent abuse and comply with the law.

Your recordings, text and photos may be sent to AI service providers to perform speech-to-text, language detection, translation, text-to-speech and listing extraction. Original messages are preserved alongside translations. Prices, brand names, model numbers, dates, phone numbers and links are not altered by translation.

• Other members see your listings, display name, listed market and approximate distance. Your phone or WhatsApp number is shown only if you enable that contact method, and only to people viewing your listing or a request you have accepted.
• Service providers that host our database, storage, authentication and AI processing act on our instructions under contract.
• Authorities when we are legally required to respond.
• We never sell your personal data.

Listings expire automatically after 30 days unless you relist them. Expired or deleted listings, their media and associated messages are removed from active systems within a reasonable period. Account data is kept while your account is active and deleted when you close it, except where we must retain records by law.

• Change your language, market location, radius and contact preferences at any time from the You tab.
• Edit, complete, delete or relist your posts from the Activity tab.
• Turn off automatic translation in chat.
• Request a copy of your data, correction or deletion of your account by emailing privacy@sayswapp.com. Depending on where you live you may also have the right to object to or restrict processing and to complain to your local data protection authority.

Sayswapp is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

We may update this policy as Sayswapp evolves. We will change the “last updated” date above and, for significant changes, let you know in the app.
